Teen Patti Rules and Hand Rankings
Teen Patti is a three-card game built on betting rounds rather than card exchange. Knowing the ranking order and the blind rules covers ninety per cent of the game.
Hand rankings
From strongest: trail or three of a kind, pure sequence, sequence, colour, pair, high card. Ace ranks high, and A-2-3 is the strongest sequence in most rule sets.
Blind and seen
A blind player bets without looking and stakes half of what a seen player must stake. A seen player has information but pays more for it — that trade-off is the core of the game.
Chaal and side show
Chaal is calling the current stake. A side show lets a seen player compare hands privately with the previous seen player; the weaker hand folds.
Practical discipline
Pot size grows geometrically once two players commit. Decide the maximum you will put into any single pot before the deal.
